Lorenzo de Finti, who had previously released his albums Beyond The Desert (1998), Groove Connection (2005), Colors of Life (2013) and We Live Here (2016), will perform at Akbank Sanat with the album “Love Unknown” (2018) recorded his quartet.
Lorenzo began playing the piano at the age of five and began playing in public at the age of eleven. After he studied at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi of Milan, he worked with Gil Goldstein at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Lorenzo collaborated with important musicians such as Eric Marienthal, Frank Gambale, M. Abrams and so on.
Bassist Stefano Dall’Ora; He is a master musician who has accompanied Lee Konitz, Richard Galliano and Jan Garbarek. Drummer Marco Castiglioni has been a leading musician of the RAI Orchestra of Milan for a long time. The Swiss trumpet player Matthias Spillmann has his own trio as well as MATS-UP, Grünes Blatt, Im Wald and Woodlander.
Lorenzo holds seminars and master classes on performance and technical aspects of piano and keyboard exhibition in Italy, Spain (M.I.T., Madrid), Switzerland, and Germany. Lorenzo currently holds his own jazz and classical radio show on Rete Due in Lugano, interviewing many important musicians and musicologists and commenting on live concerts.
