Nehir Özzengin "From Classical to Jazz”
19 year old Pianist Nehir Özzengin, who started her piano and music education at the age of 4, continues her education at the Piano Department of Karlsruhe Music University, one of the distinguished music universities of Germany and the world, which she was accepted to at the age of 15. The musician, who has won many 1st prizes in piano and composing competitions in different countries such as Italy, Slovenia, Serbia, Belgium and Luxembourg, has a total of 14 music awards. Özzengin, who started composing his own compositions from a young age, won the first prize in different composition competitions in two different countries with her composition called “Shout of Hope” at the age of 14 and received the title of an award winning composer.
The musician, who has a different musical language and unique technique, is taking firm steps towards becoming an original musician.
