Grammy award winner trumpet player, multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Payton is considered as one of the greatest musicians of our time. Before finishing high school, he was known to be a virtuoso. Besides his solo projects, Payton had the chance to share the stage with many jazz legends such as Ray Charles, Daniel Lanois, Herbie Hancock, Roy Haynes, Joe Henderson, Marcus Roberts, Jill Scott and Wayne Shorter. Payton offers us a feast of music by not sticking to a certain genre but rather combining different styles each and every time.
