Niechęć "Distaste"

The sound of Niechęć (Polish for Distaste) constantly evolves with the band’s lineup. Striking a balance between fury and melancholy, Niechęć continues to push boundaries by leaning towards trance beats and synths while still holding onto their improvisational and cinematic vibe. Nearly all of their studio albums have reached the yearly top 10 charts of the most popular jazz records on Rate Your Music. Released in February 2025, their fourth album Reckless Things marks a fresh start for the band, featuring two new musicians. The quintet dives deep into electronic genres such as techno, IDM, and UK bass to blend them into their signature jazz-noir aesthetic.
