THE FAR/O/THER ARCHITECTURE

As part of the far/o/ther Architecture exhibition organized by Akbank Sanat, a panel will be held with the participation of curator Hasan Bülent Kahraman, consultant of the exhibition Luca Molinari, Han Tümertekin, Melkan Gürsel and Murat Tabanlıoğlu on Friday, January 04. Starting with the exhibition that focuses on the architecture projects and the creation processes, it will be discussed the notions of space, identity, memory and belonging.

About Exhibition:

At the exhibition of far/o/ther architecture; we are witnessing the development and implementation processes of our projects, which are adorned with sketches, photographs, videos, materials and models of Tabanlıoğlu Architecture and Architects + Han Tümertekin offices through a project selection.

Tabanlıoğlu Architecture plays a part of the exhibition with the differents projects such as Dakar Congress Center, Beyazıt State Library, Hüsame Köklü Women's Community and Production Center (the new project of Baksı Culture and Art Foundation), Haliç Shipyards, Atatürk Cultural Center, Bodrum Loft, Lusail Benchmark and Balhambar Library-Café and New York Residential.

Mimarlar + Han Tümertekin plays a part of the exhibition with various projects such as Turkish Republic Mission Building of Strasbourg, B2 House, won the 2004 Aga Khan Architecture Award, Turkish Consulate of Ulaanbataar, Central Energy Museum, Çimtaş, Shibuya Friendship Monument, Bomontiada and Arnavutköy Masjid.
