Art Balances: Geometric Patterns (Ages 6-10)

In this workshop centered on the concept of balance, participants will discover the fundamental elements of equilibrium through the use of wooden blocks and pendulums. Throughout the process, we will reflect on balance together, examine examples of balance found in artworks, and develop ideas on how aesthetic perception is formed around these symmetries.
During the application stage, participants will design their own balance pendulums using wooden bases, wires, and various formal elements, translating the concepts they have experienced into a tangible production.
