To understand the spirit of jazz, one must understand the history of the Blues. The movies of master directors where jazz and cinema meet are one of the primary sources to discover this history. Hülya Tunçağ will evaluate the reflection of jazz in the cinema from the 1920s onwards in different aspects. Do not miss this inspiring talk that will reference cult films like Clint Eastwood’s Charlie Parker biopic.
