Song Hachul Quartet is a band composed of the most busy youngmusicians in Korea, now playing only the original songs of Song Hachul, theleader.
After winning an award on 2014 Youngchang Music Competition, SongHachul was selected as “The Rising Star” by Korea’s most selling jazz magazine JazzPeople.
On November 2nd (2017), they released their first album “StraightLife” and they have a steady activity. They can show strong energy and individualmusical color on the stage. The were invited to 2018 International Jarasum JazzFestival along with Colin Vallon Trio, Carla Bley Trio and Maxime Bender.
This Autumn, they will concerts in many cities such as Berlin,Hamburg, Stuttgart, Warsaw, Rome and Istanbul under the project “JAZZ KOREA2018” organised by Korean Consulates in Europe and Korean Cultural Centers.
