Alt Üst, the team that created an important upcycling project by producing designs from waste or surplus fabrics, will discuss their presence in the fashion industry and their approach to sustainability.
Alt Üst is a fashion brand founded in 2019 by Selen Konuk Paksoy, Selin Karcı, and Şahin Paksoy. The brand focuses on sustainability and upcycling. It repurposes unused and waste materials, offering its customers new and timeless clothing and accessories.The brand has held two fashion shows in 2022 and 2023. In addition, it has collaborated with various brands, artists, and organizations to release collections. Since its inception, Alt Üst has actively participated in various talks, documentaries, and interviews to raise awareness in the fields of upcycling and sustainability, organizing workshops and exhibitions. As of July 2024, the brand is co-managed by Selen Konuk Paksoy and Şahin Paksoy. Alt Üst continues its efforts by developing sustainable fashion concepts and upcycling projects.
