The Real Tuesday Weld is one of the most well-known electro swing bands. The band’s frontman, Stephen Coates, refers to their cabaret stylings as “Antique Beats”. The band succesfully mixes jazz and electronica with a Burt Bacharach, Ennio Morricone, and Serge Gainsbourg kind of pop. The Real Tuesday Weld incorporates cinematic aesthetic into their interpretation of swing music.
