Speaker: Mahir Namur
About the Seminar: In this module, in the context of strategic planning approach, project development methodology will be explained and exemplified by an international project. Strategic planning and project management not only serve as a planning tool for managing business processes in a healthy way, but also provide a broad perspective to enable the curator to better associate his activities with his context.

About the Speaker: He was born in 1967 in Ankara. He lives and works in Istanbul and Vienna. He completed his master degree in Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and Vienna Technical University. After gaining experience in management of international projects in the construction sector for a while, he changed his career line and started to work in culture and art management and then in existential psychological counseling. He has developed and implemented many international culture & art education and communication projects for more than 20 years in ‘Chameleon Project Management’ and PR company. He was the chairman of the European Cultural Association, which he founded for the purpose of international cultural cooperation and cultural development, and he is currently the general secreter of the association. Namur is one of the founders of Sinopale-International Sinop Biennial and was a member of the Advisory Board of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture. He is currently a member of the Strategy Group of the Soul A Soul for Europe ’Initiative and the House European House for Culture. Art Management, Project Development and Coaching courses at Yeditepe University, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and Okan University; He gives seminars about counsultancy. He also gives seminars called ‘Meaning Oriented Strategic Planning for Artists’ at universities and cultural institutions in Europe which he developed by himself. He also gives individual consultancy.
