"Curating Contemporary Art" Seminar Program

Seminar: Stylessness and Dissolution of the Monograph

Speaker: Ferhat Özgür

Time: 6:00-7:30 pm

In this talk, the artist will examine the phenomenon of stylistic formation that became dominant with modernism. Drawing on examples from both his own work and from contemporary artists who produce without manners, the talk will focus on the anxiety produced by change and the dissolution of style. Through this perspective, the artist will explore how diversity in artistic production shapes exhibition-making and the construction of monographs.
