Having released their ‘70s’ funk-fueled latest album “Otodi” last year, Vaudou Game combine their inspiration drawn from voodoo rituals with Afrobeat rhythms, funk and soul grooves in a unique way. Their colorful, mysterious and striking grooves -reminiscent those of James Brown- perfectly reflect the afro-funk spirit. The authentic influences of the African “vaudou” tradition, which gave its name to the Afro-French group from Lyon, also open new doors in the vocal technique of band leader Peter Solo.
