In his “Neurocinema” exhibition, Laurent Grasso touches upon the strangeness of scientific phenomena and shows off examples of works that bring art closer to science. In the works that he has produced concerning bizarre phenomena, Grasso considers electrical phenomena, which he deals with as the reflections and illusions of ethereal images in physical life. In particular, the mysterious strangeness of the phenomenon known as the “aurora borealis” impels him towards establishing and considering it as a bridge between this world and the world of art. Cheated from phosporecent reds, greens and blues, he employs the colors of art to bind these natural phenomena to art.
