Having become a classic in its own right, the series of “Contemporary Artists” exhibitions marks the second quarter-century of life with this 25th opening. The Contemporary Artists After much consideration, the yearly selective commission has chosen in total 1000 artists’ 1143 works for display. In the exhibitions, young talents are introduced to the art world. These talents have then obtained a substantial role in the art world by displaying their works in Istanbul Biennale. Such results demonstrate Museums of Painting and Sculpture Association’s stable and persistent aim to add new blood to Turkish art.
