Having become a classic in its own right, the series of “Contemporary Artists” exhibitions embarks upon its second quarter-century of life with this 26th opening. The Contemporary Artists After much consideration, the yearly selective commission has chosen in total 1060 artists’ 1223 works for display. In the exhibitions, young talents are introduced to the art world. These talents have then obtained a substantial role in the art world by displaying their works in Istanbul Biennale. Such results demonstrate Museums of Painting and Sculpture Association’s stable and persistent aim to add new blood to Turkish art.
