The Contemporary Artists Exhibition has taken applications from 2388 young and professional artists and their 4379 works ever since its establishment. After much consideration, the yearly selective commission has chosen in total 1070 artists’ 1238 works for display. In the exhibitions, young talents are introduced to the art world. These talents have then obtained a substantial role in the art world by displaying their works in Istanbul Biennale. Such results demonstrate Museums of Painting and Sculpture Association’s stable and persistent aim to add new blood to Turkish art.
