34th Akbank Jazz Festival
JAmZZ Masterclass Program winners are announced!
Jamzz Masterclass, aiming to create a space for new talents and support young musicians guided by BAU Conservatory and BAU Jazz Academy instructors Baki Duyarlar, Yeşim Pekiner, Berke Özgümüş, Şevket Akıncı, Şenova Ülker and one of the founding instructors of Kağan Yıldız, took place on September 21-22 at BAU Pera Stage with contributions of BAU Conservatory and Zuhal Music in the scope of 34th Akbank Jazz Festival.
Many talented individuals attending the masterclass, Göksu Köse (Guitar) and Kaşif Şahin (Saxophone) were selected unanimously by the jury of instructors to attend the Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics in 2025. One of the participants, Berkay Sümbül (Drum), will get to showcase his talent at the 35th Akbank Jazz Festival.
