Theater was born with music, dance and imitation in the ages when language was not formed in the history of humanity and changed shape and form over the ages, but remained the same in essence: to express oneself. It has become a tool to express and convey emotions. The Akbank Sanat Acting Workshop continues to explore the ways and methods of expression of the theater discipline through the different components of acting on its stage this season as well.
Every Saturday, the Akbank Art Acting Workshop progresses through the four main components of acting: body awareness, rhythm of the stage, text, and acting techniques at the Multi-Purpose Hall. In the workshop series moderated by Ömer Akgüllü, different workshop contents will be organized every week as three-hour workshops where both theoretical and practical applications are blended together with the participation of experienced professional guest coordinators.
* Workshops that do not require attendance and available for weekly attendance are limited in quota of 30 people. The workshop is open to anyone over the age of 18 and participation is free of charge.
