The protagonist of the film Sakhavat lives in a village where according to the tradition nobody allows their daughter to get married to someone who has never joined the military service. Sakhavat is in love with the girl from his neighborhood but they can’t get married to her because of his height. He is considered inappropriate for the army since he’s too short. Sakhavat finds a solution to cheating the tradition but things turn out in a way he wasn’t expecting.
