Born in Germany in 1994, the director is a graduate of both METU and ITU, having completed his directorial training in Istanbul and Stockholm. In 2023, he was the only director selected from Turkey for Sarajevo Talents. He received production support from the Ministry of Culture and IKSV. He is also the founder of Krema Film.
