İzel Yücel was born in 2000 in İstanbul. Her films were screened at such festivals as the Eskişehir Film Festival, and won awards at the Farkında Mısınız? and Kar Film Festival competitions. Interested in video art for many years, Yücel has also brought the experimental style in her films and video art works to her abstract paintings. She is currently studying at the Anadolu University Department of Cinema and Television.
