A man is stuck on the border between two countries. He has jeopardised his whole livelihood by spending the last money he had on a herd of cows that he awaits coming from the war torn neighbouring country. Amidst the sounds of explosions and distressing announcements made by the border authorities, the man's hopeful waiting for the cows, turns into the fear of losing everything.

Biography
Mahsum Taskin’s directing debut, the short film Binbir Gece (2020) was selected in many national and international film festivals. Taskin’s second short film is Garan (2024).
His first feature film project was selected for the Berlinale Talents Project Market where it received the Highlights Project Award.
The project was later awarded the Special Sound Design award at Meetings on the Bridge in Istanbul, and was further selected for the Produire Au Sud workshop held in Nantes.
