Biography
Jianjie (JJ) Lin was on his way to becoming a biologist when the alluring world of cinema led him astray. He received his filmmaking MFA from New York University. His debut feature Brief History of a Family premiered at 2024 Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Dramatic Competition and Berlinale Panorama.
