In the province of Jujuy, during the morning Rosita's mother's burial, the awakening of Carnival is celebrated. The people pay tribute to Mother Earth, the Pacha Mama. Rosita takes cover in the lonely mount where she lives. Her sadness somehow joins the Carnival dances and celebrations, which will blur her mourning.
