In a small and poor village, a local Saint controls the realm of the abyss, making it impossible for dead people to talk to their alive loved ones. Ima, a curious dead child, tries to meet the Saint, so he can let her talk to her beloved grandmother.

Born in Porto and grew up in the city of Maia. Currently based in Lisbon. He studied at ESTC and took a master's degree at KASK. His films have been awarded and shown at national and international film festivals, such as the Rotterdam International Film Festival, Vienna Shorts, Oberhausen, IndieLisboa.
