In the 15th century, monks built a wall around a forest and prevented the entry of women. But the hands of the living cannot control everything: in the invisible world, where night reigns and only souls light up the forest, women have built their kingdom of invisibility, without walls.

Portuguese filmmaker whose debut short “Metaphor or Sadness Inside Out” premiered in 2014 at Cinema du Réel, where it won Best Short Film. Her debut feature “The Metamorphosis of Birds” premiered at 70th Berlinale and her most recent film“Nocturne For a Forest” premiered at the 76th Locarno FF.
