After finding out that high school excursion to Italy is being rescheduled, Alem (17), an orphan living with his grandmother, decides to take action and obtain money by any means necessary. Guided by his role model Paze, who offers him to take part in an armed robbery, his manhood and future criminal credibility is put to the test.
CV
Irfan Avdic was born on 3rd December, 1991 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He earned his BA degree in film and theatre directing in 2014 after which he started studying for his MA degree in the same field of study. He has directed several short student feature films, two short documentary films and five feature-length plays. Film directors that have had a major influence on his work and personal understanding of film as an art form are Stanley Kubrick, Harmony Korine, Bong Joon – Ho and Hirokazu Koreeda.
