Cecilia, survivor of the Chilean military repression, confronts from her banishment in Finland, inner and political struggle, geographical and family scattering. At her side is her granddaughter Aava, offering her a new place from which ease, for a moment, the burden of her persistent and fragmented renarrating. Based on the life of Silvia Eliana Aedo, who plays the role of Cecilia.

CV

Filmmaker and editor based in Galicia and Finland. Her work, at the intersection of fiction and non-fiction, explores the relationship between image, anthropology, sound, and music, and addresses issues such as family and community dynamics, cultural dislocation, and faith. She studied music at the Mayeusis Conservatory and Guildhall School, Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University, and in 2006 she moved to Finland, where she studied a Bachelor of Culture and Arts at TAMK School of Art, Music, and Media majoring in film editing.
