CV

Mehmet Can Mertoğlu was born in Akhisar, Turkey in 1988. He studied Turkish Literature at the Bogazici (Bosphorus) University. His short films The Slope and Glimmer screened at various film festivals all around the world including Rotterdam, Edinburgh and Montreal.
His debut feature Album had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival Critics' Week in 2016. Album has awarded at Cannes, as well as Sarajevo, Seville, Jerusalem and Adana.
