Courtyards may not be a characteristic architectural feature of Beyoğlu, but the area offers a diversity of structures with courtyards, including residences, places of worship, inns, and bazaars. Sometimes they complement a single building, while other times they emerge from the union of multiple structures. Together with architect Nevzat Sayın, we explore these courtyards through the lens of Beyoğlu. We watch the documentary we have specially prepared for this occasion and engage in a discussion.
