Body and Composition

This workshop will be divided into two parts. In the first, we will break down movement into modular structures and create a composition from these segmented forms. We will explore the imagery and emotions evoked by the movements. The second part will focus on authentic and non-authentic movement. We will ask how movement affects and transforms space, and how distances define relationships. These will be key questions for the improvisational exercises and games we will conduct.
