Theatre, which emerged with music, dance, and imitation in eras when language had yet to be formed, has evolved throughout history while maintaining its core essence: self-expression. It has become a medium for conveying and expressing emotions. Akbank Art Acting Workshop continues to explore the expressive paths and methods of the theatre discipline through various components of acting in its upcoming season.
Every Saturday, the workshop, held in the Multi-Purpose Hall, will focus on the four main components of acting: Body Awareness, Stage Rhythm, Text, and Acting Techniques. Moderated by Ömer Akgüllü, the workshop series will feature different themes each week, with participation from experienced professional guest facilitators. These 3-hour sessions will offer a blend of both theoretical and practical approaches.
* Participation in workshops, which do not require ongoing attendance and are open to weekly participation, is limited by capacity. Registrations for each workshop will be taken separately through their respective event pages. The workshops are open to everyone over the age of 18 and are free of charge.
