Jazz Clubs Night: Cenk Esen
Born in Istanbul, Cenk Esen moved to Boston during his university years and then settled in London following his education at the Berklee College of Music Global Jazz Institute. As a pianist, composer, and producer, he has worked with names such as Aydın Esen, John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, George Garzone, developing a unique style that blends contemporary jazz with soul, electronic, and experimental music. In addition to his work with Chaos In The CBD, Romarna Campbell, MckNasty, Tom Driessler, and Şam, he has performed at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre and Cadogan Hall, as well as at festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, New York Winter Jazz Festival, EFG London Jazz Festival, and We Out Here. Having released his latest album Endlessly, recorded at AIR Studios, in 2025, Cenk Esen will take the stage at Pera 77 on October 6 as part of the 36th Akbank Jazz Festival's Jazz Club Night events.
