About the Play
Freely inspired by Maxim Gorky’s “Summerfolk”, it uses the same plot: a group of friends spend some days in the countryside, to relax and escape from their work-related daily based routine. The more they talk to each other, the more they drink, the more their masks fall on and they expose themselves as beings more connected to the doubts and agitations of one another: we are all lost souls searching for something that makes us feel complete, therefore fulfilled.
