Talk series titled “Digital Art Now” which is focusing on the working practices of the artists who work by the means of the digital expression possibilities in Turkey and around the world is on Akbank Sanat YouTube channel. “Digital Art Now” series; while focusing on different topics such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, audio/visual performances, computer technologies, it also includes personal trailers of the artists' journeys of discovery, sources of inspiration, and their careers. The fifth guest of the series is Bager Akbay, who defines his work as "research as an art practice".
Bager Akbay is studied Communication Design at Yıldız Technical University and Interface Cultures at the University of Arts and Industrial Design Linz. After working as an actor and a puppeteer, he works as an artist and teaches at various universities and advises companies in the design industry. His works and performances are exhibited at Istanbul Design Biennial, Amber Festival, HBKSaar Gallery (Germany), TodaysArt Festival (Netherlands) and Ars Electronica (Austria).
