Building on the discussions held throughout the program, this session invites participants to collectively explore how to make women’s labor in the film industry more visible and how to foster a more equitable filmmaking environment. What prevents us from making films? What can we imagine to remove those barriers? What should change in the future?
In this open circle, everyone will have the opportunity to express themselves—either in writing or verbally—to share their experiences and dreams. We will identify not only the challenges we face in the sector but also what sustains and nurtures us in our work. In doing so, we will reflect on our needs, what we can offer one another, and set our shared priorities and urgencies.
* The event will take place at Kadir Has University / B 401. Entrances will be through Door D.
