Relationship Between Literature and Cinema: Cem Erciyes, Şenay Aydemir

A look at the relationship between Cinema and Literature, which has been very close to each other in every period, with the experienced names of the culture, arts and cinema sector.

Cem Erciyes

Journalist, publisher. He started his profession in 1992 in Dünya Newspaper. He worked in the Dünya Kitap magazine and arts and culture pages. He moved to Radikal in 1997. As the Arts and Culture Editor, he managed the art pages, founded the Radikal Book Supplement and managed it until the date he left. He assumed the duties of Additional Publications Director, Sunday Newspaper Editor, and internet Editor-in-Chief. After Radikal closed, he started to work as Publishing Director at Doğan Kitap. His weekly articles are published on the internet newspaper Duvar. Born in 1971, Cem Erciyes graduated from Izmir Bornova Anatolian High School and Marmara University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations. He completed his master's degree in International Relations at Istanbul University. His articles have been published in various magazines. He prepared and presented culture, art and history programs at TRT.

Şenay Aydemir

He was born in Artvin Şavşat in 1975. He studied in Samsun Bafra until the university. He studied at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences. He started journalism in 1997. He worked as a reporter, editor and cinema critic in the newspapers Evrensel, Referans and Radikal respectively. He has been working as a freelance journalist since June 2014. He continues his cinema writings at Gazete Duvar and Evrensel. He wrote "Organic Disorder" and "100 Cinema Clichés" books and contributed to many books with his writings. He served as a jury member at national and international festivals. He worked as an advisor to festivals.
