Han Tümertekin, who was born and spent his childhood in Cihangir, one of the districts of Beyoğlu dating back centuries, talks about the transformations of Cihangir in the 1960s and beyond, his childhood memories, the daily life of the residents of the neighbourhood, his primary school years in the neighbourhood, the colours and sounds of Cihangir and Beyoğlu in different years through his personal experiences. In addition to his personal history in Beyoğlu, Han Tümertekin, who has accomplished successful works in the reconstruction process of many architectural works in the region, also expresses his experiences and works in the region as an architect through different perspectives and narratives.
