Joe Armon-Jones
A keyboardist, producer, songwriter and bandleader based in South London, Joe Armon-Jones is an alumnus of the education programme Tomorrow’s Warriors and a founding member of Ezra Collective. His virtuoso piano playing and improvisatory talents have made him a sought-after collaborator. After releasing two solo albums on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings, Armon-Jones launched his own record label, Aquarii Records, and collaborated with dubstep pioneer Mala and his long-term creative partner Maxwell Owin on club-ready link-ups. In 2025, he embarked on his biggest creative project yet–the two-part opus All The Quiet. These two distinct but conceptually linked albums expanded his sound into new musical and sonic realms, assisted by a wealth of special guests including Asheber, Greentea Peng, Wu Lu, Hak Baker and Yazmin Lacey. Joe Armon-Jones will perform at Frankhan Selectist on September 26th as part of the 36th Akbank Jazz Festival.
