Participative Cultural Planning in Cities

Seminar: Participative Cultural Planning in Cities
Speaker: Özlem Ece
About the Seminar: Culture-Art should be supported by policies that are liberating more than protective, integrated, equally distant to all fields and encouraging innovation, rather than being protective, in accordance with its constantly developing and enriching nature through interaction. By Providing a management model that encourages the participation of artists and cultural professionals in the decision-making process by designing cultural and art spaces and public spaces in accordance with the needs of cities is of great importance for this cause. In this seminar named “Participatory Cultural Planning in Cities”, how people-oriented, integrated and participatory strategies can contribute to the process of decentralization in cultural policies will be discussed.
