Beyoğlu rises above Azapkapı, Galata, Tophane and Fındıklı. It flows west and south from the ridge called Istiklal Street today, which connects Tunnel Square and Taksim Square. In some places it gets so steep that the street either becomes a dead end or has to have steps. Sometimes it maintains its charm by twisting and turning. We walk through these capillaries of Beyoğlu in terms of urban, social, historical, architectural and economic-political aspects. We all watch the documentary we prepared specifically for the content together. We are chatting.
* Our "Hills and Stairs" seminar, which was to take place on Wednesday, 29 January, has been rescheduled for Wednesday 12 February.
