Tamer Levent (October 13th, 1950,Izmir) is a Turkish actor, director, artistic director and writer.
In 1971, he entered theAnkara State Conservatory Theater Department after an examination. He graduatedfrom Ankara State Conservatory in 1977. He worked at the State Theaters as anactor and then as a director. He served as the general manager and deputygeneral manager of State Theaters. He was invited to festivals in Russia,Canada, South Korea, Iran and North Cyprus with the plays he directed. He isstill the director at the State Theaters and is the founder and first Presidentof the State Theaters Opera and Ballet Employees Foundation TOBAV and theTheater Actors Union TOMEB.
