Workshop: "Sound Design Workshop"
Time: 17.00 – 19.00
Workshop faciliator: Mine Pakel
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the fundamental components that make up a film’s soundscape — dialogue, sound design, foley, effects, music, and final mix. Following this brief technical overview, the workshop will delve deeper into the main focus: sound design.
In this session, which will be conducted using Pro Tools program alongside a sample film scene, the following topics will be examined in details:
• Atmosphere Design
• Foley and Effects Track
• Spacial Perception
• Action-Sound Relation
Participants will take their first steps into the world of sound by participating interactively in this process, guided by Mine Pakel. This will raise awareness of what to pay attention to by focusing on the differences between the sound world designed at the conceptual stage and its technical implementation.
The workshop aims to convey the multi-layered nature of sound and reveal the relationship between creative and technical processes.
