10th Akbank Jazz Festival

SET YOUR CLOCKS TO JAZZ!

A tradition that brings the leading jazz musicians to meet their fans in Turkey, Akbank Jazz Festival celebrates its 10th year with a festival within the festival. The 10th Akbank Jazz Festival will take place in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir between 30 March-10 April 2000. This year's festival covers a wide range from Africna rhythms the very roots of jazz-to its most modern progressions. On its 10th anniversary, the Akbank Jazz Festival offers a mostly percussions based program to remind us of the importance of rhythm and passion in jazz music.

Like last year, film screenings and workshops will be held alongside concerts for the lovers of jazz.
