Jazz is now in Istanbul! The great jazz masters of the world will once more come together at Sabanci Center, M.S.U. Painting and Sculpture Museum, and Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall between the dates of 2-12 October. This year, Vanessa Rubin Trio, Kerem Gorsev & Eric Revis, Mark Dresser Trio, Yat-Kha, Kacan Keci, John Surman Quartet, Chico Freeman's Brainstorm, Arto Tuncboyaciyan & Marc Johnson & Wolfgang Muthspiel, Steve Turre & Sanctified Shells, John Lurie & The Lounge Lizards, Abdullah Ibrahim Trio, and Benny Golson 40th Year Special will participate in Akbank 6th International Jazz Festival with the concerts they will be giving. The opening concert at the festival will be given by the famous jazz master, Vanessa Rubin Trio. While the concerts continue, video film shows, each as interesting as the next will be held, and seminars will be realized with the participation of jazz masters! We believe that attraction of jazz will bring together all the jazz fans at Akbank 6th International Jazz Festival.
