Applications Now Open for the 22nd Akbank Short Film Festival

Having started its journey with the aim of establishing a dedicated platform for short films in Turkey, the 22nd edition of the Akbank Short Film Festival will take place from March 23 to April 2, 2026.

Akbank Short Film Festival – International Competition

One of the main sections of the festival, the International Competition, is open to short films of all themes and genres. Filmmakers from all around the world are invited to submit their works, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

Applications for the International Competition of the 22nd Akbank Short Film Festival are open until December 19, 2025. You can find the competition guidelines and application form below.
