The Second Night

A loose adaptation of Dostoevsky’s novel White Nights, the film revolves around a repeating question: “If you came across a genie and you had one wish, what would you wish for?” The film has a dreamy, experimental narrative following characters, who have various pursuits from love to existence.

Ali Tansu Turhan was born in 1991 in Ankara. He graduated from the Film and Television Department of Bahcesehir University in 2017. Between 2009 and 2012, he worked in PTOT production company in various positions. He was the D.O.P in Derviş Zaim’s film “Devir.” Completed his first feature film Dialogue in 2021.
