TOWARDS JAZZ
Those who see music as an inevitable part of modern civic life, come together again at the 11th Akbank Jazz Festival.
Artists and music fans who place freedom at the heart of their lives, will experience a new journey everyday from October 4th to 13th in İstanbul and Ankara.
Towards jazz with surprises of music and creativity.
A group of artists whose musical range varies from root of blues to trip hop or acid jazz to sufi rhythms, will guide us along this journey. Together with the concerts, Akbank Jazz Festival's content has, of course, been enriched with films screenings and seminars.
A same mutual excitement will be shared in all of these internationall appointments that will take place at Babylon, CRR Concert Hall and Venue-Maslak in İstanbul, and at HiltonSA and METU in Ankara.
We will seek an answer to the question: "When it comes to freedom to Express yourself, up to where can it tke us?".
