Book Club: Books That Spark Thinking on Production
Curated by: Esra Ece Kuleci / Üretim Kaydı
Üretim Kaydı, in collaboration with Akbank Sanat, is turning its attention to the idea of production within texts—opening up conceptual, aesthetic, and experiential dimensions of “making” through a different book each month.
In this series moderated by Esra Ece Kuleci, guests share their relationship with the selected books through their own creative practices. Moving from the idea that production is not only an outcome but also a way of thinking, we will trace new connections between what we read, what we think, and what we create. We invite you to reconsider the continuity between text, mind, and action.
Esra Ece Kuleci is a podcaster, journalist, editor, and host. She traces, discusses, and writes about the production processes of creators working across various disciplines. Having completed her education in Turkish Language and Literature and Media Studies, Kuleci took part in several group exhibitions with her photographs following her academic training. She began her professional career in the arts and culture field through grant and donation programs, and until 2020 worked at numerous festivals and institutions. Since 2020, she has been continuing Üretim Kaydı, the publication she founded, which focuses on the creative processes of those producing within the arts and culture sphere.
